I don't want to be bothered with his children

 

Lakeisha is dating a man she has been dating for three years.  He is very kind, but he wants her to spend time with his children.  He has four kids, three girls and one boy.  The girls are teenagers, and the boy is almost twelve years old.  

She has been around the kids on five occasions, but the kids are loud, unruly, and one girl has stolen from her. Lakeisha is very kind to the kids, but she doesn't enjoy being around them. 

She told her boyfriend that she doesn't enjoy being around them, and the boyfriend cussed her out!  He told her that he cannot stay in the relationship if she doesn't like or want to be around his children.

This is my advice to you, Lakeisha!

When you met this man, you knew that he had children.  You have been dating him for three years and now you are just telling him that you don't want to be bothered with his children.  You should have told him this years ago.

You have a right not to deal with his kids, but you need to be honest with yourself and just date men who do not have children.  If you choose to stay with this man and you get married, you will have to deal with his kids regularly.  Do not drag this relationship on any further.  Free yourself! Just because you don't want a man with children doesn't make you a bad person; just be honest with your boyfriend and yourself.
